How to disable the Razer Synapse splash screen at startup<\/h2>\n

Normally, a splash display screen is an optional addition, and most users find it useless and irritating. Luckily, there is an option that can help you permanently disable the splash screen for the Razer Synapse software.<\/span><\/p>\n

This approach works if you’re using Razer Synapse 3. If you’re using older hardware that uses Razer Synapse 2, the interface may not be similar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To disable the pop-up window:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Open the <\/span>Razer Synapse<\/b> menu by right-clicking the green Razer Synapse icon in your notification area. If you can’t find the icon, click the \u201cShow hidden icons\u201d arrow to the left of the system tray icons.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click on \u201cSettings\u201d and make sure you’re on the \u201cGeneral\u201d tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to the \u201cSplash Screen\u201d section and uncheck the box next to \u201cShow on startup\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Exit the \u201cSettings\u201d window and close the <\/span>Razer Synapse<\/b> window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The splash screen should not appear anymore after making these changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Does the Razer Synapse splash screen pop up even after toggling the option off in \u201cSettings\u201d? It could be a bug. In such a case, we recommend that you update your software. Updates are released periodically, and installing the latest updates improves the quality and functionality of the software as well as fixing any bugs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    To install updates:<\/span><\/h3>\n

    1. Find the Razer icon in your notification area (the green icon), and right-click it.<\/span><\/li>\n

      If updates are available, be sure to install all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

      If you’re still unable to get rid of the splash screen, you can disable Razer Synapse from launching at startup. Some users also reported that disabling the software from running on Windows startup stopped some advanced functions from working.
