How to use the equation editor in Google Docs<\/h2>\n

  1. Launch your browser and search for Google Docs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select \u201cGo to Google Docs\u201d.<\/li>\n
  3. Open a \u201cBlank\u201d document or select an existing one.<\/li>\n
  4. Now, go to the ribbon at the top of your document and select \u201cInsert\u201d.<\/li>\n

  6. To preview what each symbol entails, hover your mouse over the menus in the equation editor. You\u2019ll see the following choices: Greek letters<\/strong>, Miscellaneous operations<\/strong>, Relations<\/strong>, Math operations<\/strong>, and Arrows<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. Now, to insert an equation, click on one of the menus above and click the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n
  8. Select the equation that you wish to add to your document.<\/li>\n
  9. To insert another equation, click on the \u201cNew equation\u201d button next to the equation editor and repeat steps 7 and 8 above.<\/li>\n
  10. Once you\u2019ve completed adding all of your equations and no longer want the equation editor toolbar, click \u201cView\u201d and deselect the \u201cShow equation toolbar\u201d option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you just started using the equation editor in Google Docs, you may find the process a bit slow. But once you get used to it and learn where to find all the equations, you\u2019ll have an easy time. The Google Docs equation editor uses the LaTex syntax.
