Not only will you be saving yourself a lot of stress, but you\u2019ll also be installing the right driver for your system, from the right source.<\/p>\n

          Using Auslogics Driver Updater is simple. First, download the program and install it on your computer. Secondly, launch the tool (make sure you have an internet connection), and then click the button that boldly reads, \u201cStart Search.\u201d The Driver Updater will now start to scan your device driver, and you\u2019ll be able to follow the progress. Once the search is done, you\u2019ll be provided a list of faulty device drivers, and if your sound driver has any issue, it\u2019ll be part of the list. You can then click on the button to update and repair the faulty driver.<\/p>\n

          Updating Your Sound Driver, using Device Manager<\/h3>\n

          Updating with Device Manager is the most generic method in the driver-updating playbook. If you don\u2019t know how to use Device Manager, the guide below will show you how:<\/p>\n

          2. Select Device Manager from the menu that pops up right above the Start button.<\/li>\n
          3. Once Device Manager opens, click on the arrow beside \u201cSound, video, and game controllers\u201d to expand the entry.<\/li>\n
          4. Right-click on your audio card and click on Update Driver.<\/li>\n
          5. Under \u201cHow do you want to search for drivers,\u201d click on \u201cSearch automatically for updated driver software,\u201d and Windows will check whether your current driver is up-to-date and then search the internet for the latest version of the driver. Once Windows finds the latest driver, it will be installed automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            You can also get the updated driver manually by going to the website of your system\u2019s manufacturer. Once you\u2019re on the site, search for the sound driver for the make and model of your system, download it, and then run the installer. Make sure you confirm that the driver you\u2019re downloading is for your system, as installing any other thing might cause problems.                 Ensure the command is typed exactly as shown above, noting the spaces before each \u201c\/.\u201d Allow the command to completely execute (this could take more than 25 minutes). Once the message that reads, \u201cThe operation completed successfully\u201d shows up in the command prompt, move on to the next step.<\/p>\n

                    Eight Method: Stop the SndVol.exe Process<\/h2>\n

                        4. Under User Configuration, expand Administrative Templates.<\/li>\n
                        5. Left-click Start Menu and Taskbar under Administrative Templates.<\/li>\n
                        6. Now, scroll through the right pane, locate the \u201cRemove the volume control icon\u201d policy and double-click it.<\/li>\n
                        7. On the dialog that pops up, select the \u201cNot configured\u201d radio button and click on Ok.<\/li>\n
                        8. Exit Group Policy Editor and reboot your PC, then check if the volume icon is now visible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
