Users have repeatedly report having problems with Windows 10 Store. This is nothing new, and we will show how to fix platform. Some of the problems Microsoft costumers reported were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows 10 store is not opening<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Windows 10 store crashes<\/li>\n<li>Windows 10 store does not download apps<\/li>\n<li>windows 10 store doesn&#8217;t work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this article, we will address all these problems in very simple steps.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Disable or uninstall Third-party Antimalware Packages.<\/h3>\n<p>If you recently installed a new anti-malware program on your PC, we highly suggest that you uninstall it from your computer, since there is always a possibility that an anti-malware tool from a third party can prevent your Windows 10 applications from functioning properly.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t want to uninstall it, try disabling it, then open Windows Store again to see if it has fixedthe issue.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2. Clearing the cache.<\/h3>\n<p>Issues with installing or updating apps can be resolved by clearing the cache of Windows 10 store. In fact, many Windows problems can be resolved by clearing cache. It is very simple to run and will take only a few seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Press<\/p>\n<p><b>Windows Key + R<\/b><\/p>\n<p>on the keyboard to open<\/p>\n<p><b>Run<\/b>, then type<\/p>\n<p><b>wsreset.exe<\/b><\/p>\n<p>in the search box and click<\/p>\n<p><b>OK<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>This will open a blank Command Prompt window- this indicates that it\u2019s clearing the cache. After a few seconds, the window will shut, and the Store will automatically open.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3. Go to the command prompt mode.<\/h3>\n<p>If the methods above did not fix the error and Windows store is still not working for you, please try the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the Start or Home button, then type cmd.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click on Command prompt and select Run as administrator.<\/li>\n<li>Input the following command in the Command prompt window (to make sure there are no mistakes, copy and paste the command):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\\WinStore\\AppxManifest.xml<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hit Enter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Step 4. Download and install <a href=\"\/en\/software\/registry-cleaner\/\">Auslogics Registry Cleaner<\/a>.<\/h3>\n<p>This application will help solve the stability problems your PC encounters, such as freezing, crashing, popping-up errors or slow and unresponsive apps. These issues may make your computer difficult to use and reduce its performance significantly. This software will repair and optimize your Windows registry to remove all errors and crashes and to restore normal and stable functioning of your computer.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 5. Edit the registry.<\/h3>\n<p>If you get a connection error when trying to launch the Windows store or download or update an app, it is time to head into Windows registry. Please make sure you follow these instructions closely because any incorrect edits or errors in the registry can lead to further problems with your PC.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>press<b>Windows Key + R<\/b>on the keyboard to open\n<p><b>Run<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>type<b>regedit<\/b>and click\n<p><b>OK<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>This will open the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<li>Using the folders on the left panel, go into the following folder path:<b>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\WindowsNT\\CurrentVersion\\NetworkList\\Profiles<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Right-click on Profiles, select Permissions, then click Advanced.<\/li>\n<li>Check the<b>Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object<\/b>box and click OK.<\/li>\n<li>Now restart your PC and check if your problem has been resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Step 6. Re-register Windows 10 store.<\/h3>\n<p>The Windows Store app cannot be uninstalled from your PC, so the best we can do is to re-register it on your computer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right-click on the<b>Start or Home<\/b>button, then select Windows Powershell (Admin)<\/li>\n<li>This will open<b>Powershell <\/b>as an administrator.<\/li>\n<li>Input the following command into Powershell and press Enter on the keyboard: &amp; {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + &#8216;\\AppxManifest.xml&#8217; ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When the operation is done, you can close Powershell and try to open Windows Store.<\/p>\n<p>We hope the steps provided to you in this article have helped you solve your Windows store error.
