Did you get a message from your computer that said \u201cclasspnp.sys\u201don the Blue Screen of Death? Well, you are not the first user to experience this annoying error, so we are here to help. In this article, you will learn <\/span>how to fix the classpnp.sys problem<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We suggest a couple of solutions for this issue, and they will work on both Windows 10 and Windows 7. So, <\/span>what if Windows gets stuck at classpnp.sys<\/span>? What do you do next?<\/span><\/p>\n

  4. After the automatic diagnostics, click Advanced options and then select Troubleshoot.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select Advanced options again and then Startup settings.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. At the bottom of the page, you will see the Restart button, click it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. In the list presented to you in the next window, select number 5 – Enable Safe Mode with Networking.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Once you have successfully booted into Safe Mode, you will be able to proceed to Step 2 of resolving the classpnp.sys error.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For Windows 7:<\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Ensure that your device is turned off.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Press the power button and then immediately follow up with F8.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Arrow keys will help you navigate the DOS-like interface. Select Safe Mode with Networking and hit Enter.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. You now can proceed to Step 2 of resolving the classpnp.sys error.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Step 2. Now you can run a System File Checker scan for both Windows 10 and Windows 7<\/span><\/h2>\n
