i found a file related to this but named ALG.exe

alg.exe is a microsoft application related to the firewall in \systems32 or in servicepackfiles\i386...just watch which one is running

alg.exe is needed for the firewall and internet connection sharing and if you don't use either you can disable it with no problems in Application Layer Gateway service in the Control Panel >Administrative Tools >Services
